A lot of people think being bigger is an advantage in boxing. But boxing history says the opposite. See Dempsey, Marciano, Louis (pre-layoff), Ali (pre-layoff), Tyson: these guys all dominated their eras against bigger opponents. These guys only started losing when they put on extra weight. See: Dempsey vs Willard Tyson vs Smith Louis vs Carnera Marciano vs Louis Ali vs Liston In each case, the second guy weighs much more and gets beaten with little effort on the part of the smaller guy. The Klitschko's look good against today's fat burger-eaters, but against a guy like Max Baer or anyone else from the old days, they would be exposed easily.
Like he said, it in your imagination. Know one knows because it never happen, but if life would have had these two in the same era, this fight would of been one for the ages.
Yea he KO Joe Louis at the very end of his career, just like every other big win in his career Shavers would've been stopped, his chin was very shaky,Foreman takes him out Early/Mid rounds Big George would have been too much for Shavers and Marciano
the Klitschko's or Lennox Lewis would put most of the old timers in comas. Those guys weighed 180, The Klitschko's and Lewis weigh in at a muscular 250. they might not be better fighters but they are good enough to land power shots and stop them.
What are you talking about? Marciano was getting free whacks on Ali's midsection and Ali said that **** hurt.
You do realize they sparred right? There were punches to the body being tossed. Head punches were pulled. Jesus, some people. Ali even admitted to his midsection hurting afterwards.
