Nice of Ali to pay homage, however unrealistic, to one of his predecessors.

 

Marciano's style would have given Ali hell. That's for sure. In the end, I still think Ali would have prevailed...but it wouldn't have been an easy fight for him...in my opinion.

 

I remember Frazier putting Ali on his butt.

I think a 1960s Ali is all wrong for Rocky. I like Ali. Just a very bad matchup for Rocky.

 

Chuvalo was one of the toughest *******s to ever lace up the gloves.

 

Yeah, he's got a chin, and he's got heart, but he's still wasn't a very good fighter and often got outboxed.

 

I think Ali was full of **** sometimes.

Ali also said years ago on the old Arsenio Hall Show that Mike Tyson would whip him also.. I give Mike a better chance then Rocky, Im just saying...

Marciano did get in the ring with real heavyweights. He fought everybody available and you better believe he would fight all the heavyweights in the 70s.
