Don't act like Ali stole food from hungry people, if you know anything about the situation you would know, that money would've rotted in a Swiss bank account.

You know what really makes me sick? people trying to rewrite history.

That's not really a good calculator. Try compare 1913 to 2010, same amount.

Before comparing, remember that there was no PPV that time. Just gate tickets and/or sponsors.

I'm not sure but do you think fighters have cuts with CCTV revenue that time? I assume it will go to CCTV hosts.

no. Same way the PPV is devided between the promoter and the network, the CCTV revenue was devided between the promoter and the hosts. Obviously. You think the promoter will just let the hosts air the fight in their theaters for free? think about it.

The fighters were paid a certain purse by the promoters. The promoters used the revenue from the gate, the sponsors, and the CCTV to pay the fighters

It's the same **** as today.

Fighters today get PPV percentage. I don't think fighters back then get CCTV percentage which means, fighters back then will have a fixed payment. CCTV by the way is way less prevalent to homes those days compared to cable TVs now, however, CC can also be at some venues like theaters where tickets are charged.

What I'm trying to tell you is cause you said that they only had gate revenue and sponsors, but I am trying to explain to you that they also had CCTV.

Then you said that fighters don't get a % of CCTV, but they don't get a % of gate revenue and sponsors either, so I don't see what is your point.

Then you say "CC can also be at some venues like theaters where tickets are charged"

    Well thanks captain obvious.
