ali was right about one thing. they were slow and flat footed. pretty shocking! every knockout the opponent stands still and takes it. thought he was knocking out heavy bags - they could move better. schmeling was holding on the ropes with one hand in the rematch. just standing still and saying hit me - no defence or movement at all. WTF was that all about lol.
He was right indeed. Funny how Cus and Ali both see the same thing yet come to a totally different conclusion. I think Ali was right, if Louis would hurt Ali, Ali would clinch/hang on his neck and recover. I think we need more good men like Muhammad Ali with a very big ego, that don't just hang on seeing the past fighters as their superior and trying to be the equal of past fighters but actually want to go past them, become superior and aren't afraid to say they want to be superior.
