    Ali
Probably the ONLY heavyweight champ to fight everyone of his generation, including ATGs Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Liston, and Patterson.

    Wilder
Has fought a pastry chef, a substitute school teacher, several medically unfit guys, and a personal friend who was brought in to take a dive. And those are the good ones.

    There is your comparison. Cheers.

And they both have two hands and feet.

Holy **** I laughed at this one.

I see no real parallel between Ali and Wilder. Both their path to success and style are very different. They are both good at self promoting in a way, and that's about all i can see in common.

Personally I've always been struck by the similarity between Ali and Fury, both in style and career path (and in being good self promoters). Both large for their era, with great movement and average power. Both kd'd twice early in their career and had reps as chinny, but beat a hard hitting ATG in an upset to become champ. Now, both have been exiled for years(of course, for very different reasons). If Fury can come out of this era as the best HW of the age, it will be a startling similarity between them

I see you're getting ripped on quite badly for the comparison, but don't take the criticism from people too badly @Aston Villa . If you see a parallel that means something to you, go for it.

The only real similarities they have is they both like to counter on the back foot and thrive on confidence.

Career wise ? Ali took on the best guys ,wilder does not.

Overall skill wise ? Both are/were hard to fight ,wilder bc he has reach and power but Ali didn't let guys dictate fights, even if he was behind he could still out box guys.

Really they are a huge contrast to one another, wilder tries to impose that hes the best without proving it to the fans while Ali backed it up by fighting the best available win or lose and letting the actual fans decide .

Even though claiming to be the greatest which wilder is trying to copy by support of stupid fanbase whos easily brainwashed so they detract from other boxers to get that idea. lol

In terms of EACH era ,ali was thought not to so good of fighter until the 70's,which is just about every era bc fans REFUSE to take notice of current fighters so its nothing different here, which is true.

Will this be Wilder? I doubt it theres to much competition now and coming up,i think he'll lose his belt sooner then later so the probability we see him in a different light years from now is remote, but who knows ? I just don't see solid foundation of actual boxing ability in itself from watching decades of it.
