Mirko Wolf himself was an undefeated fighter, winning eleven fights before moving into coaching nationally in Germany and forming bonds with Richard Schaefer and the Hayemaker team. He had lived boxing and was now breathing life back into the sport. Bluntly, I asked if he had seen anyone with Willy’s talent before?

“No. Never. The answer is no. I have come across some very talented people, I used to train with Roy Jones in his camp for several months but (Willy) is one of a kind. You don’t see this kind of talent. It’s hard to find words for it. What Mozart is to music, he can be to boxing. So gifted.”

Joyce, Buatsi, and Akhmedov will be better pro's than Hutchinson. On everything I've forgotten.

    edit: maybe not Joyce.

lol OK that makes sense. I still suspect that's the first time a Scottish LHW has fought over in France, though.

Don't know but wouldn't surprise me if some scots journeyman fought there. Or some Kenny Anderson/ David Brophy level fighter had a European title fight there or something.

Chick Calderwood was probably Scotlands best ever light heavyweight, he fought plenty of times abroad.

I just checked it was the European Junior * championships in 2014. & the World Youth Championships in 2016.

You sound like some bitter, childish joke who got Glasgow kissed back in the day and is still salty about it lol. Seems like you are just 'hoping' for Hutchinson to fail, you dismissed him in your previous posts without even looking him up just on his name to be a troll. I glanced though your posts and you was tipping Tevin Farmer to be a superstar lol. Why you mad that the tiny nation of Scotland 5 million people probably has 2 better prospects in Josh Taylor and Hutchinson better than your huge nation of hundreds of millions can produce.

Kenny Anderson is way too ginger and way too psycho for the French to allow him over there.

Chick Calderwood is a guy, right?

Thanks. I did a search for those championships he fought in earlier but like I said I wasn't sure what year he won the Euros.

    Lol! Anderson was a nutcase.
Yeah apparently Calderwood was very good, he beat Willie Pastrano. Scots call people called Charles - Chic and Thomas -Tam etc:D

Anderson was a scary dude even I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley and I hang out in dark alleys all the time.

Pastrano went onto fight a draw with Archie Moore a couple years later, beat Harold Johnson and Terry Downes, and stop Gregorio Peralta so that's a very good win for Calderwood.

I've watched both of Hutchinson's pro fights and this noodle-armed spastic would get absolutely pulverized by an Elbiali, never mind Akhmedov.

Did some scottish guy take your girl Corey the Cuck.
I think I'll rather go off my own eyes and Ismael Salas, David Haye, Richard Schaefer etc and unbiased posters on the British forum than some SJW forum addict with an agenda who constantly gets his predictions wrong..

You were always gonna say something negative because of your bizzare homosexual tendencies to Akhmedov. Taking fanboy to new levels you'll be getting a tattoo of him next

Hutchinson is younger and has more natural talent and skills. Akhmedov will do well but time will prove me right that Hutchinson is better ;)

Let me guess I bet you think Akhmedov would beat Kovalev, Beterbiev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, Stevenson as well?!! Haha

I'm quarter-Scottish myself, you dummy. (my father's surname comes from the site of a historical battleground near Cumbria during the lengthy period of medieval border disputes with the English)

I don't see why thinking Akhmedov could hang with any of the current titlists with another year or two of seasoning is all that ridiculous. Is he ready this instant to jump from the likes of DeShon Webster to facing Kovalev? Er, no, but then I think you know that was never my opinion. Is he on his way to reaching that level if he's continually brought along on the same course that he so far has been on? My view is that he is. Everyone but you that has seen him seems to agree that he does have potential in spades, and that "it factor" - which, sorry, I just don't see in Hutchinson. Fast and busy hands, sure, and he's tall with long reach - but even in the few rounds we've seen of him in the pros I see bad defensive habits and not a whole lot of serious power (neither of his stoppages were due to any one punch having a lot of torque on it) and his technique for such a stellar amateur isn't exactly flawless either.

Throwing away everything that happened before they both turned pro (as we ought to, because this is a completely different ballgame), and going just by the eye test, I don't see how anyone could think Hutchinson was a better prospect.
