Based on the fight with Mike Guy, not very long. Akhmedov is better/sharper/faster/more powerful and more aggressive than Guy.

 

I'm really eager to see where Akhmedov debuts in the WBC Top 40 rankings...they should be published any day now. His predecessor as WBC Youth Champ (Toni Kraft) was sitting at #36 as of the August edition. Of course, the (presumptive) win over Thomas won't give him any further boost from that debutant spot, as this is a 6-rounder and not a Youth title defense, but you gotta start somewhere and it is better to stay active than wait to selectively take matchups that will propel you up the ranks more quickly...Akhmedov is young and has plenty of time.

Fite TV will have a live online PPV, costing $5. Unfortunately, it will only be three bouts, with Akhmedov vs. Thomas absent in favor of Zhanibek Alimkhanuly being promoted up the card due to his late opponent change to Marco Antonio Peribán (that's one crazy ass short notice sub).

Going from De Jesus to Marco Antonio Peribán as late sub did have my eyebrows popping, lol.
