What year was that from? ,sounds like he was slurring a little..........

 

..........I have never seen a youtube clip of it (and I have looked), but after Hagler stopped Hearns and began for the first time to taste celebrity, he did a Pizza Hut commercial.

It was just him sitting there with a black backdrop, slice of pizza in hand, and he chews away.

Then he pauses and muses to himself, "I wonder what What's-His-Name is eating tonight?"........

He takes another bite, then chuckles, "probably soup."


God, I wish I could find that.

 

............Old Spice or something like that, yeah.

 

I liked the cat food one with Dempsey, and wasn't there one where Marciano punched a bear or something?

 

The greatest one I ever saw was before the Fight of the Century and Ali calls Joe Frazier up on the phone.....then it goes to split screen and Ali is telling Frazier he is going to put a whuppin' on him......and Frazier says:
'You just be there CHUMP" and Ali says: "CHUMP?"

The real phones looked like little toys in their big hands.

 

Wasn´t their one with Leonard, Duran and their sons? I think i saw it at youtube once.

I think there is another one where he breaks his head through the tiles of a shower.

 

yeah Ali was slurring. i'm sure i've seen clips of him in 1977 slurring his speech. First signs of something not good.
