Ali did beat Floyd Patterson X2, does this prove Tyson can never win VS Ali?

Ali would be hard for Tyson no matter if you compare the peek a boo defense. But comparing Floyd to Tyson does not make sense. Tyson could punch legitimately.

I would never say that any ATG could never win vs another in the same weight class.

Frankly, I wouldn't say that Jimmy Braddock could never win against Ali.

We hold boxing matches because we don't know the outcome.

Tyson and Patterson are 2 different fighters with the same basic style. Tyson was bigger and stronger and hit a helluva lot harder than Patterson. Plus he fought more aggresively and had a better chin than Floyd. The difference in the outcome I feel would be Ali by decision against Mike but not by stoppage. Ali with his speed, height and reach would probably outbox Tyson being very careful to not invite Mike inside too often. Mike was simply more dangerous an opponent than Patterson though Ali would adjust accordingly.
