from how good to how bad he became is so shocking. no one looked as bad as ali in his last few fights. everyone knew he was finished except him and bundini and others who were just after another pay day. very sad.

A sad sight. He was 39 but looked 59. His speech and movement clearly slowed down from the first signs of Parkinsons syndrome and/or punch drunkness. All of his fights the second half of the 70's are kind of sad and rather boring. Not to mention he should've lost the decisions against Young and Norton III, with the Shavers one very close as well. When you nearly lose a decision to Shavers, you know you're near your end.
