Ali wins, he was too much in foreman's head. Foreman would have probably come in overly cautious trying to pace himself which is the opposite of what gave him success in the fist fight. Ali picks him off and wins by UD

I think Foreman would stop him in the mid rounds

Very likely scenario. Yes,it's true that Ali in 1977 was nowhere near the guy he was in Zaire three years previously but,as you say,Ali was in George's head. Foreman would be in a permanent mood of indecision as to what tactics to employ.

The second fight would go the distance with both men really tired in the latter rounds. Ali would be able to control the tempo which would get him the nod.

Before Manila Ali easily beats Foreman again.

In the year following his re-winning the title ,Ali successfully defended his title 4 times against top ten rated opponents.

In that same time period, what did Foreman do?

Ali, late round stoppage, probably around the 13th. Can't see Foreman being effective in the later rounds, and as state beforehand, Ali was in his head.

Well, ali lost against jimmy young this fight was a circus, and he lost against norton, tell me what fighter deserved more than foreman a fight with ali.... He destroyed frazier ,lyle and norton.the top dogs.if norton won the title (like he should have done vs ali) he never could have been the real champion ... Foreman would kill him

Why did Foreman deserve a title shot he did not fight for 15 months after being emphatically ko'd by Ali?

Foreman fought Lyle 15 months after he was ko'd by Ali!
Ali fought Young almost a year and a half after he ko'd Foreman.
And he didn't lose ,he won a unanimous decision
I ask again, what had Foreman done to merit a title shot while Ali was defending against active top ten rated challengers?

No, actually i dont want making a debate forever,i know what you meant and i have another point of view that's all. I would not call shavers exactly glass chin but sturdy chin neither

Ali wins again. No KO because Foreman conserves more energy this time.
