I wouldn't start **** in the first place, no danger.
If he came at me regardless I know one thing, I'd run faster than I ever have at anytime in my life before.

 

Yeah, this was for real.... I think Ali was annoyed at Joe but not angry, he still had his head about him but wanted to hurt Joe (mentally if not physically) because Joe was stupid enough to bring up the hospital, which Ali wouldnt have brought up even knowing that it would gain massive bragging rights as to who really won.
Frazier was angry alright... he realised his mistake about the hospital comment but Ali wouldnt let him get out of it & kept on going on about it which made Joe more & more angry.

Thats the way I seen things.

Ps. Cheers for the vid, I had only seen the brief highlights on the `champions forever` video before.

And Ali's kid brother Rudy kept making snide comments in the background, appparently. Think those got to Joe as well.

The clip won't play for me but I assume it's that one where Ali sounds like he says "quick Joe" before their wrestle. Is it "quick" he says? Me and one of my mates re-enacted that scene loads of times back in the day. :yep
