Styles make fights. Who does best against Lewis?
As crazy as it may seem, maybe Frazier does best. Lewis never had to fight at Joe's pace; could he do it? I don't discount him doing a Foreman on Joe if he goes in with aggression, but he was usually more cagey than that.

Could Foreman bring his power to bear on Lewis or would Lewis jab his head off?

Would Ali be facing a nightmare in Lewis? Big, quick AND powerful might be hard to overcome, even for Ali.

What do you reckon, fellas? Who shines and who suffers against Lennox?

ALI I think outboxes Lewis pretty comprehensively. Lewis has maybe a 7-1 chance to win.

Frazier, the prime version who could time Ali at range, land on the way in and not the restricted version who was stranded with just one range against Foreman, could be a real nightmare for Lewis. But Lennox has a punchers chance, he's nobody's fool and there is only one side the power is coming from. It's a pickem but I would chance a small wager on Joe. He was so accurate against Ali and Foster, he's not missing Lewis.

Foreman would be in trouble. Big trouble. I am certain Lewis would beat him. but it would be very intresting because George is game. Lewis has size, speed and technique on George plus he competes for sheer power. George is far, far too open to be made the favourite here.
I make Lewis 2-1 Favorite and would not put anything on Foreman.

Great post! My only concern for Lewis against Foreman is the sheer animalistic intent Foreman brought into the ring. At his peak, George was frightening and I can't see McCall or Bruno troubling him!

That said, Lewis had enough of everything to give anyone a hard time.

Ali beats him with speed and movement.Foreman is rather a toss-up imo,Frazier gets bombed out as soon as Lewis decides to attack.

Don't you think Lewis lands first? I don't entirely rule George out, he's game and has raw power. Usually the idiot proof maxim of two punchers facing each other pick the one with best chin but Even if George has the better chin I just think Lennox gets there first. Lewis has the better defence, longer arms, better technician and comparable power. George was wide open if lethal.

lewis should knock him out cold and it is not happening even in dreams, simple like that, a guy who got drunk by bruno or rahman would get smashed by one of the hardest puncher s of all time and one of the best finishers as well, with killer instinct, sturdy chin AND AN ALL TIME GREAT FIGHTER, WHO FOUGHT TO WIN, NOT TO SURVIVE LIKE A *****. if lewis hurts him foreman would survive, he took a much better shot, if foreman hurts lewis it is all over, and it is more than probable.foreman by ko

According to that theory, Lewis should have lost to Tua, Tyson and Ruddock, yet strangely enough he never.

not, tua and tyson were short guys they could not reach lewis like foreman could, tyson was was a shot , he wa sno prime foreman, and ruddock was a ****ing overrated bum class c with crappy chin that got bombed out by any puncher that he fought, horrible comment

Ali outspeeds and outmaneuvers him to an eventual decision. Foreman knocks him out. And Frazier gets knocked out.

Ali fought big men in Terrel but E.T. did not have the power of Lewis, Ali had the mental strength but it may be a points fight with Ali's speed and movement making the difference

Lewis had the size and range over Joe but Frazier could hurt Lennox if he got in close but he may have to feel something first and that is the tough part with the quick starting Lewis, also one hand would be tough vs Lenny. I favor LL but not written in stone.

Foreman had an almost equal range and had the power to take Lewis out of there but with Manny in his corner LL would be cautious early but look to hurt GF with a Big right hand early but behind the jab, George would be fighting a bigger man then he and one with equal power and better speed (slightly) but the area that George may be better is chin and recovery so this fight is a toss up (Lewis better skilled, George the rougher guy)

Actually your whole analysis is horrible because you have the analytical skills of a 4 year old. Why don't you just say you hate Lewis's ****ing guts and be done with it?

Why don't you comment on the fact Foreman was down more times in the Lyle fight than Lewis was in his entire career?

Must be one of two reasons, either you weren't aware of it or it never fit your agenda, either way it shows favouritism or a lack of knowledge, take your pick. And that so called bum named Ruddock who was a class c fighter with a crappy chin, lasted the distance against a near prime Tyson.
