I'm psyched to see how it all plays out. It wouldn't shock me for a second if Funeka wound up winning- the guy is absolutely huge at the weight and knows how to make the most of it. Nate's going to have to fight a smart, focused 12 rounds to pull it off. And given Nate's consistency? Who knows what'll happen. That's why everybody whose a fan of the sport should be watching this one. :thumbsup

Sure its a big step up in opposition for Funeka -- but I give him much more than just a punchers chance -- agreed that only Raheem sticks out on his resume --:smoke:smoke

I will be watching this fight from beginning to end. I'm not the one thinking about some boring ass dunk competition! lmao!

Funeka has been down 5 or 6 times in his career, against garbage opponents. Against quality opponents, Nate has only been down once, and it took a free shot to get that one. What do you think is gonna happen when Nate touches him on the chin?

Nate in 6 (maybe less, but I know Nate is going to want to crack that body awhile before going upstairs)

Having watched most of Campbells career, I would not count out Funeka at all. Campbell has fought down to his opponents levels before and was KTFO as well. If the guy who fought Casamayor, Diaz and Kid Diamond shows up, he should get the W. But if the guy who fought Pedan shows up, we may have another player @ 135 in the mix.

People are seriously disrespecting Funeka, like he's just some tune up or something.

    I don't think that's disrespect . . . that's a simple case of a fighter not being known by most. :D

Did I say disrespect, I meant underestimating. Must have gotten this thread mixed up with the David Haye thread. Thanks for the correction.
