According to the Las Vegas Review Journal , Ali Funeka, tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic for increased urination rate and weight loss, following his rematch with Joan Guzman. The commission meets Friday, and Funeka could be facing a fine and suspension.

I'm not surprised. His tall, lanky ass has no business at 135.

Funeka has had one hell of a year....

Campbell fails to make weight, beats him on points.

Beats the snot out of Guzman in Canada and gets ****ed by the judges.

Has a fight with Rolando Reyes on the Valero-DeMarco undercard fall apart.

Rematches Guzman, Guzman comes in overweight and beats him on points.

Now Funeka himself tests positive for a banned substance.

And rightfully, Floyd should've been banned had he used it in states where it was banned.

But he used it in a state where they let you use it, so again.. there's no problems. :smoke

a suspension is absolutely warranted. I wonder how he masked it when tested after the first Guzman fight. I highly doubt this was the first time. This guy is a fraud.

that's not how you should see. The other fighters are dehydrating themselves without the use of this drug.

Of course, and one can only speculate how many of these fighters cheat in training, when it does count. And you ask anyone who is an expert on the topic, they'll tell you there's a period where you can get it out your system so that it won't show on them blood tests. :deal

You are a disgrace. Defending Guzman and harshly criticizing Funeka.
