Staying at his current weight isn't helping him either. It's like pick your poison for him.

Why would a diuretic be a banned substance? :huh

There's some disambiguation needed here before anybody gets on Funeka's case.

Doing something that's against some silly nonsensical rule is not the same as doing something unethical to gain an unfair advantage. I wouldn't lump Funeka using something to help cut weight (or any of the guys who've had wins changed to No Contests because they happened to smoke some marijuana within a few days of the fight and had it in their system when tested) in with the likes of the glove-loaders or actual steroid takers.

Before people read much into this, Funeka tested positive for a diuretic, not steroids.

It helps cut off weight faster and I think the increased rate of getting **** out of your body also serves as a sort of a masking agent for urine tests

U just answered ur own question dick.
BANNED IN OTHER states. so he followed the rules ...

In nevada they are allowed hydration drinks in the corner but other states are not so if you are in nevada u would use one wouldnt u .

A legal advantage is not the problem its the cheats in the sport that need catchin and random testing is the way forward

Joe does it because an organization of rather well educated people on the matter thinks both should be taken to SECURE that nothing slips through.

And so yes, Schmoe should then do it to support a clean and fair platform.
