Funegga beat Campbell IMO. If you check Harold Lederman's scorecard which was 113-113, he gave Campbell round 3 which was blatantly Funegga's round. All Funegga's rounds were clear and obvious, he should have got the 'W' If Campbell didn't get knockdowns you can imagine the score, Funegga is hard to deal with thats for sure. Guzman gonna have to fight his ass off to win this one. He's either gonna have to get inside and stay inside, or move extremely well out of Funegga's reach and jump in on shots to disturb Funegga's rhythm.
I also had Funeka beating Campbell. Just because Campbell knocked down Funeka didn't mean he should have gotten the win. Funeka clearly outboxed Campbell by at least 2 to 3 points.
What?! I really wasn't rooting for anyone in this fight just wanted to see a good fight. But after see this post, I'm pulling for Funeka, IMO Guzman hasn't done enough to be on the same level as Morales. By the way Morales was way past prime against Raheem.
Based on these two fighter's styles . . . it's going to end up in a decission and I'm giving Funeka a more than average chance to produce an upset. Guzman is faster but he'll encounter problems negating Funeka's reach advantage . . . so if Funeka fights a smart fight and box from the outside maintaining the distance between them he'll win rounds. Guzman is good when you attack him and move forward to catch him but when you back pedal and just wait for him to come to you . . . he'll be out of his rythm. If Funeka GAS OUT and stops moving he'll lose,
I am looking forward to this. Bute and Andrade is interesting, too, but, I expect Bute to rebound to his "old" self.
