Huh?! Thought it was quite clear. In stupid speak, I think it's silly to annoint Ali as the h2h greatest of all time without being open to the possibility that someone else might be better

Actually, just saw my original post said annoying. That is kinda unclear, tvd. I go off my phone anymore on this forum and it's really hard to control malapropisms on it. Do my best, but sometimes, autocorrect is a *****.

Jesus, and I just had to make significant spelling etc corrections again. ****ing weird ass autocorrect phone functions.

I feel 66/67 Ali is just too good for anyone in heavyweight history and that includes a great Larry Holmes, it's the speed and reflexes that make him stand out from the rest. People can argue after the ban he was capable of being beaten and I totally agree, I hated him sitting on the ropes against multiple fighters and I seriously think he pushed his luck with that tactic and it only worked once. Prime Ali between 66/67 is totally different and he had enough experience at that point to beat anyone past or present. I have heard people mention the struggle Ali had while dealing with the jab of Doug Jones but Ali was nowhere near his prime yet.

Read the poll question as: "Would you favour anyone H2H against Ali?"

On the contrary, I'd actually call him the first "modern heavyweight".

Ali would probably be a cruiserweight in today's boxing. He walks around 225. Then cuts about 10 pounds in training camp to 215. Then drops 15 pounds of water weight the day before then rehydrates back up to around 217.
