to even start a thread like this proves how thick and clueless you are. Larry Holmes was a very good fighter in an era when the heavyweight division was devoid of any top challengers.

You are comparing him to ali? we are talking about a man who was a 3 time heavyweight champion of the world, a legend in every sense of the word, a man who came back after being banned for 3 years and beat foreman who terrified every heavyweight in the world and ali was 32 years old. I could go on and on, but there is no need to. To compare larry holmes to ali is a joke, and you are a clown. Go back to the big tent you sack sucker.

Holmes went life and death with a faded Norton. Even so, take Norton off Ali's resume and does Larry's come close? No, there is a big difference between the level of competition each man beat.

When Holmes was 38 he got crushed by Tyson, by your logic how could Larry ever be considered greater than Tyson because if Ali wasn't old when he fought Holmes then Holmes wasn't old when he fought Tyson.

    :rofl

    Firstly, I hate soccer.

Secondly, you're probably the worst boxing "teacher" alive.

Third, being a "teacher" doesn't inherently make you knowledgeable in terms of boxing history. You're a walking example for this.

Finally, you said that "Holmes was old when he fought Tyson", in response to me saying, "the same LHW that fell to Tyson in a matter of seconds". Clearly referring to Michael Spinks. Oh my...

Open a book, watch some films. You might learn something about the history of the sport you "teach".

And don't act like you know more than me, this thread alone just embarrassed what you consider "knowledge". Take a hike, ****stick.

well let's look at my resume. Number 3 light heavy weight on the Marine Corps boxing team. 129 and 28 amatuer boxing record.

Having a lot of POSTS doesn't make you know **** about boxing either.

Actually guys I teach are winning state titles====== again, you're a ****stick.

You don't like soccer but you're gay avatar might have exposed you.

Henry Cooper was a small *****. Ali was a loud mouthed ******* who let's young Marines die in his place. He lives off American Capitalism but is afraid to fight for it. Too many young people have died for this country to call that piece of **** the GOAT.

The same guy that beat Foreman and Frazier should have lost that fight to Cooper. Liston 2 deosn't count.

THE MEDIA HAS WARPED YOUR LITTLE MIND INTO BELIEVING WHAT THEY WANT.

Either way. You don't know **** about boxing and I'm TOTALLY sure you never put a glove on. So until you have, STFU, and let the adults and the warriors make threads on this site. You just sit there in your ****** soccer cleats and thank god for young marines and soldiers who have provided you enough freedom to say what you want without somebody reaching thru this computer and choking your wormie ass asleep.

    btw===== go **** yourself.

finally a man that could see the magic of LARRY HOLMES. You other idiots (except the honorable sweet pea) actually think comparing hatton to leonard is the same as ali to holmes. THE MEDIA HAS WARPED YOUR MINDS. Ali told you guys he was the GOAT so many times you actually believe it.

All i'm saying is Holmes number one Ali number 2. It's not that wacky a thread people....
