:patsch Ali is maybe the most athletic heavyweight ever. He was by no means small, 6'2.5" 215lbs. Cruiserweight my ass!

Ali was like Roy Jones in his prime only heavier, stronger and maybe the greatest chin ever. But yea, he would be small for today's HW and might get beat by some of them.

There is not a snowball's chance in hell Ali would lose to any HW in the top 20 today. So he's not a Klitschko monolith...he would box those big heads of theirs clean off.

He had a great chin, but not the greatest. He got his bell rung and was knocked down by the following:
    Sonny Banks
    Henry Cooper 183 llbs
    Joe Frazier 205 lbs

I think Vitali Klitschko has a better chin-took Sanders's best punch and that outrageous uppercut by Lennox-true heavyweights.

Yea like Roy would too huh? I know what you're saying and i respect your opinion but Lewis would have beat him and some of the Russians would too.

His speed and accuracy alone would wipe the floor with the current batch. Hell, if he could ease up on the shaking, he might be able to recapture the title this year!!

None of todays heavyweights should have a chance with Ali and the stiff slow Klitchkos would be as a mouse in a tigers hands.
Speed always beat power and if you can´t hit your target it doesn´t matter how hard you punch.
Ali would have played with the so called champions today.
