Forget the prime ALi , or Clay as he was known. Forget the Ali who came back to win the title. Any Ali beats Valuev, NO Ali gets knocked out in 2 by Corrie Sanders. No Ali quits on his stool. So what heavyweight today beats Ali ? None. If you think they do , all it tells me is you have played too much fight night or watched too much Will Smith.

For CHagaev ........ go to Liston
    For Peter ............go Frazier
    For Lewis ............ go Foreman
    For Byrd ........... go Patterson
For ( cough cough ) McCline .......... go Norton
For Danny Williams ...............go Cleveland Williams
For Herbie Hide ............go Earnie Shavers

I am dredging the bottom of the boat for the K bros and Valuev now , oh wait i have it

    For Ruiz............... go Bonavena
For Roy JOnes Junior ............go Archie Moore

How on gods earth does anyone over 11 think Ali loses to anyone today ?

Hmm The Cleveland Williams that got his leg shot with a shotgun beats Danny Williams? Ali is great but that's a weird way of going about it.

That's when he probably showed his greatness, when his physical attributes had declined. He went up against and beat arguably the greatest batch of Heavies in history.

Is this the same Chris Byrd who made the mediocre Fres Oquendo look good? And who battled the one-armed and inactive Andrew Golota to a draw? That one?

Its almost 50 years since Clay won the LH/W gold in Rome. Its 30 years since reclaiming a version from Leon Spinks..

Argue amongst yourselves.... The Clit Bros will be trivia questions in the next 30-50 years.

Anyone associated with Ali legacy will be remebered and honoured for being involved in a brilliant H/W period.

The currnent batch will be hard to remember... classic fights amongst them will become near impossible to name. Nostaligia will desert them entirely.

Ali could easily be around 240-250 if he was as out of shape as some of todays Heavyweights, I mean check Solis, he fought at 200 at the olympics....now he is like 260?
