Thats because guys who are naturally 240 lbs aren't all that much better suited for fighting, most guys that big have too many physical flaws. Lewis is the only really big HW champ that could pose a serious threat with his size, Wlad is too chinny and is basically just a worse version of Lewis, Vitali isn't as offensively skilled and gets hurt too much.

Tyson was running through big HW's and Frazier is at least as dangerous as Tyson, he would more likely that not win a h2h fight, he had mentally what Tyson lacked. And today, Wlad is the only HW with size that has any skills. All the other champs would have blended right in during Ali's days size wise.

Nobody in history has a better resume at HW, nobody.

Foreman showed exactly what it takes to be a champion in todays world, as a fat 40 year old with nothing but a big punch.

But really, if Ali was overated as a boxer, big damn deal. His quality of opposition was fantastic FOR HIS TIME.

And he was more important to the culture and to the planet than Holyfield, Tyson, Foreman, Liston, and Lewis COMBINED.

If Holyfield and Tyson are big enough to become all time greats against these supposed superheavies, don't ****ing tell me Ali isn't.

The only really big HW's that actually had talen are Lewis, Bowe when he was on, and Wlad is starting too. Golota had it at times too. But the point is, these so called "superheavys" have never dominated, the only ones to be sustained champs have been Lewis and Wlad to a degree, but Wlad has lost to small fighters.

I don't know about Wlad beating Ali. Ali had great reflexes and could really avoid alot of shots. His mobility for a big guy was great.
As long as we are talking Heavyweights, Ali was great. But when we are talking pound for pound. **** no, im no impressed. his hype has alot to do with his persona and the way he stood up for what he believed. Compare his skills to Trinidad, Mayweather, Ricardo Lopez, Sal Sanchez, Cotto. there are so many other fighters i'd watch before sitting to an Ali fight.

If you define greatest as who has the best skills, there is an argument, its weak, but theres an argument.

If you define greatness as who accomplished the greatest things as a HW boxer, there is no argument at all, its Ali by a landslide. It's not even remotely close.
