I agree with that. For me Robinson is that. But I don't put Ali far from him or Leonard or Duran.

Frazier was miles better than anyone Hamed beat and far tougher, Hamed nevder faced that amount of hooks, Ali proved he could take amazing punishment in one of the greatest fights of all time, TFOTC. Hamed even said Ali was better than him and as a muslim was his hero.

Oh yeah! Wish I'd thought of those. Sanchez (I call him "Mr. Cool and Deadly") was just inspiring in general :)

So Pearl Harbour attack wasn’t all engineered secretly by the US government to bring the US into the war?

Of course not. Conspiracy theories are predominantly for the uneducated.

Nope ,there was no concerted call for the US to join the Allies against Germany in fact the US Ambassador in London JFK's ass hole Father was very pro German. The American Nazi Bund picketed the Louis v Schmeling 2nd fight in support of the German.
America had no intentions of getting into the conflict as it was doing very nicely trading with both sides. Its hand was forced by the Japanese bombing of its 6th fleet.
Just as the sinking of the Lusitania brought the States into the first WW forcing Wilson to abandon his goverment's policy of keeping out of European conflicts.

Americas policy of isolationism really came into being before WW1 not WW2
America came into the war as a result of Pearl Harbour otherwise it would probably have sat WW2 out!
ps The US did not declare war on Germany, it was the other way around!

I agree. Beating the guy at 32, who demolished the fellows who did beat you up, by out-tiring the unstoppable force invulnerably hanging in the ropes, makes the case even more fabulous. Thats simply the stuff of legends. Unrepeatable.
Imagine telling the story to someone doesn´t know about boxing:"There was this fellow hanging in the ropes and beating the hardest puncher the world had ever seen.....without even moving! ......" Whut???"
    Simply legendary.

Louis Schmeling 2 a better signature win?? Never. It was simply a rematch. Schmeling even lost to other boxers before.

Without the Foreman win, Ali might easily drop out of the top 5 spots.

Top five spots? If Ali were stopped by Foreman and there was no second reign he would have dropped further than that here in 2019.

Douglas over Tyson is the biggest in my opinion. I don't care about all of the coke and hookers stories, they were expecting Mike to steamroll over Douglas in 30 seconds, he was called the baddest man on the planet, it was shortly before my birth, but from what I know it was almost consensus that Tyson could kill anyone on Earth.

The odds that Douglas overcame to win that fight were incredible and he looked dominant all but one round of the bout.

It was definitely an amazing win, top 10 in terms of sudden shocking upsets. Only difference is Douglas was 29 Ali was 32 and Ali was fighting a guy who demolished his 2 biggest rivals. Had a bit more weight.
