Yeah, thats ****ed up.
A lot of great people do some really bad things.
It's one of life's paradoxes.

Plus, CTE is no joke.

I mean if someone wanted to take a turn at your idol, they could refer to him assaulting innocent people, much smaller and weaker than him. Abusing helpless people, and robbing them. Cowardly stuff. Interesting when we become choosey about who deserves compassion and who doesn't.

 

Its beyond inappropriate, the reasons given included hitting his wife, just best to forget this one.

 

Ali only did that because he got his a$$ whipped by Norton.

 

Well therein lies a paradox.

 

To say Ali wasn't great at predicting the outcome of other people's fights would be an understatement.

Ali thought Henry Cooper would beat Floyd Patterson - Cooper was knocked out and was on the canvas for a whole minute.

Ali predicted that Joe Bugner would become World Champion...

Ali predicted that Norton would beat Foreman - Norton was stopped in the second round.

Despite this, Ali said AFTER the fight that he thought Norton would have won if he had known in advance how much he would have been paid for defending the World title against him!!!

 

At least he eventually got this one correct.

 

Ahh yes, how could I forget the WBF World Heavyweight Title?
