Red Dragon, I think you've got your prices wrong. I know you spend a lot of time doing these, but when you're starting out from the bottom you cannot expect people to be paying such high prices (even for original pieces). In comparison, look at this Marquez-Casamayor poster: http://www.champsuk.com/i-807/juan-manuel-marquez-vs-joel-casamayor-fight-poster-.html £5 for a official fight poster. In comparison, the closest you have in size for your work is £43. Pacquiao vs Hatton and Clottey on-site posters are £35 etc. Perhaps the best comparison I do is with this poster: http://www.champsuk.com/i-1160/floy...n-1-of-only-1500-official-onsite-poster-.html Richard Slone is one of, if not the, most recognisable boxing artists out there (probably only behind Leroy Neiman). His limited edition commemorative poster for Mayweather-Marquez is selling for pretty much the same price as you're asking for your work! Jetski on here was selling his original commissioned paintings for something like £400-£500 I believe (?), whereas it should be selling for 3-4x that amount for the quality and hours he puts into his work. But when you're not a recognisable name in your particular field, you have to start from somewhere. My advice to you would be to half your prices, get your name out there and if you start getting some sales gradually raise your prices. I'm not trying to criticise you, just giving you some advice :good
ok thanks if their too expensive just say, it gives me more of a grip on the prices as im just starting up and im aware of jetski and slone but i didnt think that £40 would be a lot considering the size of the prints but meh ill have a look anyways, how much would you say would be a fair price considering i have to pay to get them printed?
Do you get them printed individually or in bulk? Obviously that would have a big impact on the cost of printing per poster. I think £25-£35 is a fair price.
