Brendan Ingle says this about anyone that walks in his gym, even the postman.

I don't want to be overly critical, but from those videos he has huge flaws. Obviously it is early days, but he is very wide when he attacks, he has absolutely no defence at all, he is upright with his chin hanging out to be tagged and when he is trying to evade punches he pulls his head back rather than moving his feet. So he is off balance with his stance narrowed by the first punch thrown at him, he will thus end up being dropped by shots that did not even stun or hurt him.

He telegraphs his shots and does not keep a tight or even compact shape when he throws, so he is a counter punchers dream.

And he doesn't appear to have a huge amount of power either.

Still he is rangy, looks quick and is only young, so time will tell.

Absolute fail. The amateur performances were average at best and had you been boxing someone with any real ability they would have nailed you every time you fell off balance after missing your counters or tripping over your feet. Couple that with the fact that Sheldon Joplin isn't a top amateur and the fact you make the same spelling mistake of 'amature' on your youtube profile and we have someone talking about himself, comparing himself to two of the greats... lol. I can't find you on boxrec either are you boxing under a different name or was that a load of shite as well?

Bit harsh, but still you said exactly what I was saying about his footwork and balance.
The kid is on boxrec, it is Ali Shah and he is 2-0, no stoppage wins.

    EDIT: Here is the link...

Don't think i'm been harsh... If I came on here under some pretence name saying 'you should see that Jeff Thomas' He's like Joe Louis and Ricky Hatton' and I got found out I'd expect to be taken the **** out of.

If he'd have come on here and said... This is me, my name is Shah- Brenden ingle thinks i'm pretty good what do you think? Here are my vids then perhaps i'd have taken the time to put together some constructive critism. Instead we get fantasy. And by the look of the early opposition he's taking the nadeem siddique route to the....area level.

Positives- he's southpaw, 6'2, ilusive and welterweight. Anyone can look good boxing in that Brenden Ingle style against a journeyman or a limited slugger. Proof is in the pudding but in recent times the only fighters who have gr8 sucess with that style have had a good enough dig to disuade someone form pressuring them.

Shah is a decent domestic prospect but after only two fights I will keep my judgement reserved for now. From what I heard he has good hand speed but poor footwork, he may improve. Like most Ingle fighters he is flashy and fancies himself, hopefully he will add power to his game otherwise he may end up like Siddique.

Aye I remember your first ESB post well, your mistake was having the screen name "Jeff Thomas", otherwise you might have got away with it.:D

Yeah you are right, and to be fair it is pretty stupid to do what this kid has done, and agreed that unless you are super slick (Graham) or can bang (Hamed, Witter) that style is not a great one.
