    the alzado fight..it was reported that lyle said he was never hit so hard before in his life and this dude played pro football hopped up on every steroid imaginable

    Ali toyed with Alzado like he was a kid! Not many football players have evolved into good boxers. I remember watching Mark Gastineau get soundly trashed by little Tim "Doc" Anderson in a fight on USA network. And that other footballer - Highsmith - get dropped and seriously discombobulated by a jab!

    Reportedly, in preparation for the second Spinks fight, Ali sparred Tony Tubbs, and Tubbs knocked him down.As for Page, Page admitted in an interview that he sparred with Muhammad at his boxing school, and he tagged Ali with a right, and it turned into a fight.

    Though he could get away with it when fighting 'B' level fighters, DeJohn
    stated that 'this crap will get him killed if he ever fights one of the top guys'.

    Actually Ali did sparred with Joe Lewis for his upcoming fight with Inoki.There was no knockout.
