Leon Stinks ****ed around a bit after winning the title. I know that.. But, he still showed up in Sept. of '78 looking pretty ripped and solid at 201 pounds... Stinks hardly pulled a "Buster Douglas" act of Oct. 1990....

Aside from "Ali-Norton 3" and "Ali-Shavers," everything from POST 'Manila' 1975 pretty much was boring in terms of Ali's fights......

Its funny how Ali fought 15 rounds at such a late point in his career. Many fighters today are dead after 12
How come 15 rounders dont happen anymore?

    ESPN doesn't even rerun that......

But I saw Ali fight Coopman on TV back in '76 with the folks.....

Ali never had trouble going 15 rds.... His stamina prior to 1978 was fine..... Also, if Ali was in full control, he could box all night long..... Ali was a master at pacing himself through the long haul......

Ali knew he was not a power-puncher. So he prepared for long rds......

I liked the last 30 seconds of the 15th of Ali's fight with Earnie Shavers. Muhammad had him on ***** Street.

Yeah, I loved the last flurry. You would think that would be Shavers blasting away and Ali trying to survive. Nope. Ali hurt him bad with a hook and didn't stop.

    Tommy Gunn,

Righteous footage....... Hey, Richie Dunn looks to me like a serious opponent past dude's like "Dempsey, Tunney, Louis or Marciano" would've fought...... How come Ali gets pissed on for TKOing Dunn in 1976 at age 34???

Well, Dunn wasn't really a good fighter.
I think he was a good contender, and certainly came to fight, and would test an opponent.
Here is Joe Bugner KOing Dunn..

He doesn't get pissed on ... Dunn was just a second rater , that's all ... It was the last time Ali ever knocked a fighter down ...

I was never a big fan of Joe "The Bug" Bugner, but he did own good skill and technique. The bloke knew how to box..

Poor Ol' Bugner just fought in a bad era for his abilities..

I think Joe Bugner would've been a monster and a solid top contender had he been fighting in the 1890s and 1900 circuit with "Sullivan, Corbet, Fitz and Jeffries."
