    I'd never seen these videos - there are loads of little nugets in there. But what interests me most is Ali's playing at being hurt. I'd never seen it but i'd read about it in Mailer's excellent The Fight. It was fascinating to see it play out, the actual sparring....

    Anyway, does anybody know the time-frame of this incident? Does anyone know if this happened before or after the Foreman injury? Because Ali looks ****, in sparring, at the bag, even skipping he only looks OK. He looks soft. I know that he tends to work on his weaknesses in sparring but still....
