He has said that, yes, but it wasn't clear to me if he meant physically or mentally.

It should also be said that on a British TV interview shortly after regaining the title he dismissed the suggestion that he had been better equipped to beat Foreman at 32 than he would have been at 22. He said that he wasn't really stronger at 32, being just a couple of pounds heavier than he'd been for Liston, only slower.

I think by heart Ali was the strongest fighter.

I would definitely say Ali appeared physically stronger post exile. He also seemed to punch harder. He, in every other way, was inferior to the pre exile Ali.

You just can't handle that a young adult understands Ali's greatness and has knowledge on boxing history unlike you. They may have lived in that era but seeing and understanding is two totally different things.

You maybe a fan but you're not a true fan because you don't understand Ali's greatness. Any TRUE boxing fan would say Ali is the Father Of Boxing. Plain and simple.

Look, there is a reason why Ali KO'd Superman in the comics. He's the strongest.

Again, you're blind. Stop thinking that punching power is the same as physical strength. Ali is physically the strongest fighter. End of story.

He couldn't manhandle a small light heavyweight named Jimmy Young. Look what Ali did to him. Now that's what you call manhandling an opponent.

Clearly not because Ali manhandled monsters. Wrong, Ali was fighting clean. For example, Ali didn't hit Ernie Terrell when Terrell's back was turned to him. Another example is Ali didn't hit Cleveland Williams when Williams back was turned to him. Another example is Ali didn't hit George Foreman when he was about to drop to the canvas. Of course some skill was used in the clinches but mostly it was Ali's physical strength.

Show me proof Ali stating he was a stronger fighter after exile? I believe Ali was stronger before exile. Trust me, Ali was physically stronger than any opponent he faced. In a interview before the Foreman fight, Ali said that Floyd Patterson and Zora Folley were stronger than him! What he meant was in punching power, not physical strength. The truth is Ali didn't know how truly great he was.

Buzz off, go and google about boxing history and understand Ali's greatness. Then you can comeback and talk about boxing and Ali. Again, blind people thinking punches equate to physical strength. Ali suffered a broken jaw from a punch you dumb pleb.

Enough with the nonsense. Ali was slimmer and in way better shape before exile. It's obvious he was physically stronger than post exile. Ali punched harder than post exile. Also he was capable of knocking you out while moving backwards in the 60's. He lost his deceptive power in the 70's. Post exile Ali was no doubt inferior to pre exile Ali. In the mid to late 60's, Ali was something else.

So Ali was stronger than Valuev, Carnera, and all the other giants that have dotted the HW division? Stronger than, say, the Klitschkos? No. But physical strength is not nearly the most important attribute a boxer can have.
