Ali took 50-50 with Joe, Floyd can't with Pac?

    YOu gotta be kiddin me. the Biggest name in all of sports history took 50-50 with Joe and Foreman in Africa too. SHut the F up floyd and get out of the sport you fraud. Don't let the door hit you on yo way out. Ellerbe, you're dismissed too. And take that fruitcake Haymon wiht yas.

    Well, Ali was the challenger both times, and the other guys were probably better recognised (certainly with Foreman).

    The fight should be 50/50, though (or 60 to the winner etc.).

    Has Mannys camp said they will settle for 50/50 Arum has said 60/40 critiscism can be aimed at both camps at the moment imo.

    floyd is the challenger to Pac's WBO belt. And Pac is the bigger star - note his most recent PPV #s compared to floyd most recent.

    First time Ali fought Joe although Ali didnt hold a belt he hadnt lost it in the ring either. I believe it was also the first time 2 unbeaten heavyweight champs met in a ring.

    I'd also argue Ali was headline news and far more recognisable than either to the general public than either Joe or George. His personna and stance on vietnam and his conversion to Islam saw to that.

    50-50 is more than fair. :D

    Lol Ali was the "Greatest" after his career dumbass. He was a worldwide superstar LATE in his career not when he fought Frazier the first time. Frazier was the Undisputed champ and Ali was the challenger. 50/50 is more than generous on Frazier's part.
