You see, That's exactly what I'm talking about. You proved my point. This is not a contest, this is just an exchange of knowledgeable information about fighters and where their skills stand at this moment. You haven't been impressed because you don't know what to look for in judging a fighters skills.:think
You are a strange person. On 2 separate threads you just accused me of being biased towards Canelo and Kell. Go find any post in my history that would suggest that I'm a big fan of either guy.
Floyd cant school him but nevertheless Im leaving Floyd and Pac out of the picture when ranking WW, my ranking is 1-Thurman 2-Brook 3-Rios
To be fair, cst offers up, knowledge from past and still offers up, the new comers... It's a tricky business to understand the difference how the game can change.
I know exactly what to look for, I know how skilled counter punching defensive fighters are but I don't like them so I troll you guys who like them so much, for the record I "officially" picked Ali to win by UD, but was openly rooting for Santana in spite of knowing he most likely had no chance. Ali is a very skilled fighter no doubt, but he hasn't impressed me enough to think he's the next big thing like he has a lot of you. He's looked very underwhelming at times, and as far as the Abregu match goes Abregu has always struggled with fighters like Ali, and he's been down several times, including against Prada in his previous match. So I'm not as thrilled by that as many of you are.
Man, that's high for Brandon... I think Khan, Bradley, Maidana take care of Brandon quite easily. Chavez beats him in a rematch if he keeps his head. I'd give Porter the edge over Brandon too.
Whoa Man! I don't recall that. What threads were those so I go back and read them. That way I can respond properly. Right now I'm at a loss as to what you're talking about. As a matter of fact you are responding to a post from me that wasn't even addressed to you unless it's an alt. Correct me if I'm wrong.
On this thread you said that I "hope" Kell beats Ali. While in reality, i don't hope for anything if this fight was ever to be made. I just think Kell is in a different league from Ali. On the thread about whether Wlad/Jennings tonight was a robbery you said something in response to one of my posts along the lines of "But you only think body punches count if they're thrown by Canelo". I don't have an alt, I joined this forum like 3 weeks ago.
We can only guess until they fight. But I know for a fact that none of them can take care of Rios "quite easily". You can quote me on this if they ever fight, the 4 of them.
Good fight for 3, 4 maybe 5 rounds before Ali starts falling apart. Kell wins by corner stoppage round 7 or 8
I hear you, but I don't say one thing and mean another. I call it the way I see it so there is no misunderstanding. You stated that Brook would tear Ali apart and I believe that it is a 50/50 proposition. Never said Ali was the next big thing, just that he has just as good a chance of beating Brook and Brook does of beating him. I don't see a perceptible gap between their skills or their opponents.:bbb
Cst, I didn't rub that in your face as far as the Ali Ud goes, it's just to me a silly bet from a kid that knows no better, I'm not a hating kinda guy, to me this is a sport.in the end nothing to take serious.
I really need to reconcile the two parts of me on here, there is part very knowledgeable poster and another part of me a vicious contrarian who knowingly says all kinds of **** that blows up in my face and the less "in the know" of how I act posters take far it too seriously.:conf As far as Ali-Brook goes I stand by that, I don't think Ali is anywhere close to being ready for Brook but I've been a champion for Brook since I signed up and predicted his win over Porter, I also think Porter would badly beatdown Ali as well.
