In the rematch Ali looked flustered too, until Cooper's eyebrows started spraying blood everywhere again. Cooper just had a great style to fight Ali, but his bleeding weakness was one you simply can't get away with against Ali.

The stitching was a bit open around the glove ,the quest to find another pair of glove's, was unsuccessful , and the delay lasted an extra 5 seconds. The smelling salts were illegal at the time in the UK , and world wide since. Ali was taking things too lightly ,he redressed the issue in the next round.Cooper did well but he was not going to win either fight.

the guy who wrote those comments must have thought ali was a champion at that time. The thing is had cooper somehow been given that fight it would not have made him a champion.I cant get over these kids who dive in with an opinion without understanding all the facts. cooper himself plays on the delay but so what? It was his moment. just like archie moore always played on marciano geting what only he thought was a long count, nobody minds a little b.s. if a guy caused something historical. Nobody can change the fact that both genuinly knocked down great fighters. That is the great thing. anything else is stretching it.
