If it is my post you're referring to, I said the first 10 was a carbon copy of the first 10 in the first fight.
Wow, I had forgotten the distance they put between these two score-wise, 5-6 points seems abit stretched. Guess its time to view and score it again, no problem as it was such a great fight.
I had it 10-4, but that was one of the first fights I ever scored, so my bias for Ali could account for the wideness at which I had it. I certainly don't see how Joe was ahead, or even close on the scorecards though.
Frazier's ever increasing propensity to swell up prevented the last 4 rounds being similar to FOTC. Also,Ali had slightly more left than Joe.
I think he had more left because he paced himself better and beacuse he left himself less open for counters from Joe. Instead of getting caught and almost KO'd in rd 11, as he did in FOTC, he started to slowly turn the tide.
I wish that Muhammad had trained a bit harder for that one. He underestimated Frazier. For their second fight,Ali was ready and sharp as a razor.
Heh, well, up to the 13th and 14th round, those were big for Ali. That's what made me have him up. I actually had Ali up by 3 points.
