You said he would arguably beat him now when challenged say give him fits and when challenged go to "have a great shot at beating him". Now you are hinting at an Ali decision. You are all over the place like a mad womans poop. Also feel free to show us where we said Ali would wipe the floor with him? And WE don't read posts properly? LOL just LOL
Hi fellas, its hard to imagine that Larry improved enough in the two years after this fight to be competitive with the 74 version of Muhammad Ali. Cheers. This content is protected
Do you understand the meaning of arguably? You both obviously don't so I'll give you some more examples in the hope you understand. It's feasible, possible, conceivable that Holmes in 74 would defeat Ali. If it is feasible that he would beat him then it's a fact that to do so he would give him fits. Now we've completed the English lesson I ask is there anything else you are struggling to grasp?
How is it hard to imagine, Holmes was inexperienced in 74 but he was no baby at that time and had been working with Ali for a good while by then.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/arguably I don't think you've provided any evidence to show 74 Holmes could beat 74 Ali.
I did though...... Holmes had been working with Ali for a good few year before 74, he has stated he more than held his own with the GOAT. On the clip of When We Were Kings reporters who were there told of their surprise of how easily Holmes handled Ali in sparring. True Ali let sluggers beat up on him but it's apparent on that short clip Ali was not messing about with Holmes. Holmes at that time clearly had the speed and jab to give Ali nightmares.
