And yet you will still find those who are so desperately trying to believe a conspiracy MUST have existed that they ignore the evidence.

Liston was hit by a right hand he never saw coming as he was stepping forward that knocked him out. No fix, no conspiracy. Just a KO.

The FBI had no proof that Hoffa was killed by the mob, but he was. Just because the bureau does find enough evidence to bring an indictment, does mean something didn't happen. The fact that you believe this proves your case says a lot about your case.

    LOL!!!!!!

Where is your formal investigation that proves a fix?

The FBI concluded in 1975 that Hoffa was killed by the Mafia.

The FBI did not conclude any fix was involved with Ali’s KO over Liston in 1965.

Read it and weep. Feel great in your life that you prefer to believe in fantasy.

Actually it seems that you’ve neglected to do basic research.

I don't understand you. MULTIPLE PEOPLE heard Ali shouting "get up nobody is gonna believe this." MULTIPLE PEOPLE saw the punch and said it couldn't crack an egg. You chose to cast their opinions aside in favor of those who suit your obvious-as-day agenda, and hear only what you want to hear. Very selective and hypocritical.

I see, post this report that states the FBI concluded that, and post any indictments that came from their investigation.

Except it didn't knock him out.As he said, he could have gotten up in time but as Ali was standing over him and he did not get a count he stayed down

Please point out what Ive missed I'm very happry to address it in fact I'll be overjoyed.
I have quotes from Liston and Ali. Liston stating he could have gotten up Ali saying to his brother "he laid down".Jerry Izenberg ringside saying Ali said" get up you sucker no one will believe this" George Chuvalo ringside saying," I saw Liston's eyes he wasn't knocked out"
Joe Louis saying the punch was like a corn flake .
Eddie Futch being asked if it was legit replied, "give me a break!"

Please show me where I'm going wrong!

While you are at it please produce your quotes that show this was a bonafide ko punch? WAITING

What evidence would such an investigation be likely to produce?
Would you expect a signed confession?
I'm not desperate about finding a conspiracy I just dont think the punch was hard enough to ko Liston and the majority of those present felt the same.Liston himself said he wasn't knocked out and could have gotten up.

I’m referring to your statement that Houdini made up the FBI investigation. Which is 100% false, evidenced by the freedom of information act.

Based on your writing style, your temperament, and your inability to have a reasonable debate, going tit for tar doesn’t exactly wet my appetite.

Ali in private, to close friends and family said that Liston didn’t take a dive. This, above the fact that the overzealous Hoover couldn’t substantiate any evidence of a fix with access to more resources than practically any other agency in the world, is good enough for me.

Several of Carnera's fights were investigated we know a lot of his opponents laid down, knowing it and proving it are two different things.
The FBI denied the existence of the Mafia for 35 years! It wasn't until the famous raid that caught several capo regimes at a summit meeting that Hoover reluctantly admitted the existence of it! The FBI investigated John Steinbeck bugged his phone and tried to set him up in a honey trap in New York I wouldn't give two cents for their opinions. As far as I'm concerned they have often been" the enemy within! " Corrupt and self serving and not above black mail .They illegally bugged Martin Luther King too!

Show me where I said he made up the FBI investigation.I said he makes it up as he goes along. A general comment on his posts. I made no reference to the FBI or any investigation
No don't take me on. You've got nothing to debate with whereas i've several verified quotes directly contradicting the unsupported assertion that Liston was genuinely knocked out.One from Ali, the man who threw the punch , and one from the man who received it Liston!

What have you got? Your unsupported opinion ie Jack ****!

Now produce the private quotes from Ali that say Liston didn't take a dive. And I'll produce my ones saying he laid down.
You have two options comply with my request or run away and I' m already waving good bye ! LOL
Don't worry about my style , worry about the primary sourced evidence I bring to back up my opinions.

I'm happy to thank and praise you for your terrific visual contributions both here and on You Tube. You do us all a service!
But quite honestly,I don't think you know the first thing about how to read a fight and I don' t mean that as an insult ,just my opinion of your posts.
ps You have a higher opinion of the FBI than most others do!

**** or get off the pot time .Young Man!
Here is a verifed quote from Doctor Ferdie Pacheco who worked Ali's corner in Lewiston that night.
Ali was as skeptical as his public, and he stood over Liston in disbelief. He waved him up with his gloved hand and snarled at him,
"Get up you bum! No one will believe this! Dr Ferdie Pacheco From his autobiography Fight Doctor.Bye! lol

I always said Ali, Walcott and Fleicsher were more responsible for the resulting farce than Sonny ever was.

Bad officiating. Not Sonnys fault. He was not obliged to get up until he received a count. The time keepers count is not the official count. The referee takes up the count from the time keeper only once the the fighter is in the neutral corner. That is what the neutral corner rule was supposed to mean. It’s the fighter scoring the knockdown own fault if he won’t go to the corner. He holds up the count.

A light punch on the button will deck a good fighter. It was a genuine “flash knockdown” and with Ali acting the goat like that, whooping, jumping and running back and forth, Sonny was not obliged to get up.

He could have got up in an instant but Ali was stood over him. Walcott lost control. Nat should have kept out of it.
