Do you realize how easy it is to find examples of boxers breaking their fall on a knockdown?

 

Not if they're legitimately knocked out as some are suggesting Liston was.

 

Knocked unconscious and knocked out for the ten count can be and usually are two very different things.

 

Well if Liston (according to you) was unable to get to his feet for a minute or so. Wouldn't you say he was unconscious? And if your answer is no then that means he could've gotten up which he didn't meaning he took a dive. So what is it?

 

I'd back the vast majority to know what an arm punch is. Not all tho. I remember you posting a clip of what you labelled a check hook ages ago that certainly wasn't a check hook.

Golovkins first right hand immediately before the lesser shorter right was a much better punch than Ali's. It was two right hands in pretty rapid succession. Golovkin had good leverage on the first, much better than the Ali punch. Even so Jacobs was a bit off balance as much as anything.

The thing is Jacobs isn't rolling around on the ground as if he'd been hit by a hammer.

That to me is inclusive more than anything. I would have said "some people" or "many people". I'm sure someone in here truly proficient in english can clarify. Maybe i am wrong, maybe i am not. By simply saying "people" i take it as all encompassing.

Why would i mention Walcott of Fleicher? I'm gutting particular segments as you did. You did however not describe the segment anywhere near accurately. You left out a significant happening that was inside the short time period you portrayed. Liston simply didn't put his guard up and then the fight was called.

If i am a witness in a murder trial i don't say he ran toward the victim then the victim was on the ground dying. I say he ran toward him then stabbed him multiple times then he fell to the ground dying or similar.

Well concise is not true in any way shape or form - simple.

Your footage simply backs up my assertions but that's far from an uncommon theme. Ali's best punch by far is his straight right hand. Ali throws two right hands in the sequence. The first is avoided superbly as Liston anticipates, ducks and even gets his left arm and glove moving up to help parry and catch the blow. Ali catches him with a left (probably) as Liston again anticipates the follow up right hand and ducks clean under it. This is a guy supposedly badly hurt. He even negates the next left hand and stays out of range for another. During Ali's barrage he has avoided both right hands and just about if not all the lefts as well. Ali as we know if blindingly fast and yes Liston is indeed “doing a damn good job slipping the punches”. You need to interpret your own footage correctly.

When i first saw all this days ago i was going to reply to your post and let all this personal abuse go. However after having given it a few days and re-reading (while knowing full well your history of abusing and attempting to bully others in here to the point of multiple bans) unfortunately i can't let it go.

Ego is you telling mods in here how to run the forum and exactly what the forum should be. Upon them not bowing to your demands/requests you then set out to abuse them to the point of multiple bans. Even when warned one more smart mouth comment will get you banned your ego still demanded that you keep abusing and harassing until yet another ban was dished out.

During this abuse you threaten to pick up your bat and ball and go home by saying you won't share any more clips in here etc etc hoping that will give you some purchase with other members. This childish egotistical ploy of course failed miserably.

Multiple times you have demanded other members put up footage of themselves hitting the bag after putting some up of yourself because you (somehow) thought you were hot stuff. This richard measuring effort was often followed with abuse and belittlement. Hell, one time you even denigrated another guys type of gym membership and involvement proclaiming, of course, that yours was better. Talk about EGO.

You cannot handle anyone questioning or disagreeing with you. You take it as a personal insult and it soon descends into gutter level personal abuse. It's never your fault tho, it's always the other guys.

I still remember you telling one member his wife must have been ****ed by Marciano (when he didn't share your line of reasoning) yet here you are accusing others of all sorts of shenanigans. In this case you were called a "****ing little hypocrite". Did i see you use the word hypocrite before? You've not only been banned for abusing mods past the point of the acceptable but also other members. Little mans syndrome at it's finest.

This is getting a little to personal. We have to remember this is just a place where we voice our opinions. We need to learn to accept our differences of opinions because without these differences, this place wouldn't exist!

We have the testimony of Ferdie Pacheco when it actually happened and we have Ali telling his brother Liston laid down whilst still in the ring these are immediate things , honest reactions.I'll take that any day over a revisionist story prattled later. Or perhaps you believe Ali learnt a new secret anchor punch from "Uncle Tom comedian " Stepin Fetchit too? I'm not battling you, you have nothing to fight with!
