Ali vs. Marciano (computer fight) Was it fixed in Marciano's favor?

Well, some people just didn't like Ali.
Not all of them were white racists.

Generally, a loud mouth boasting all the time how "pretty" he is, and how great he is, is likely to attract a few enemies.

Politics made Ali some extra enemies, and some powerful and fanatical ones, but some people hated him as soon as he opened his mouth, just for his conceit and childishness. It's hard to respect and admire a person who never shuts up about how great they are.

Politically, Ali apparently believed in racial seperation, that whites were devils and blacks and whites should never mix. The kind of stuff most racists would agree with. But racists of all colours are stupid, so white racists were more interested in hating him for being black than respected him for sharing their views. Ironic.

 

I know Ken Norton was in the US marines. I dont think he was drafted though.

I think the drafting of Ali was political, a way of saying "be like Joe Louis".

The draft systenm seems unfair anyway. They should either draft everyone of a certain age range, or no one.

I like how he used to lecture the black community on TV about living by "Islam" and living clean, and he'd tell his wife not to wear mini-skirts, and blame the white man for ghetto morals and prostitution .......... Then he'd run around trying to set world records for *****-****ing, screwing every cheap groupie and piece of ass he could find !

No doubt that Ali was very promiscuous and unfaithful to his wives during his career. He has admitted it, and claims he regrets his behaviour.

But one thing Ali is adamant on: that he never had sex with a white woman. Presumably this would be against his religious/racial beliefs. Has anyone got conclusive proof if this statement is true or false?

 

A few foot notes. First off this was a movie! Approximately 70 one minute rounds were boxed, and there were multiple endings. Some endings had Ali winning. I beleive the Ali on cuts was the film shown in Brittan, while the Marciano via TKO was the ending shown in the USA. Ali and Marciano did not dislike each other. Both had respect for each other as fighters.

 

This is most likely false. Ali was a huge ladies man. Beyond that he was an EOE type of guy to the point where he's settle for average Janes.

Larry Holmes had some hard truths about Ali's camp. In the book facing Ali ( An excellent read that I recommend ) Holmes said Ali was very promiscious would “F “ a snake if someone held its head down.

 

I think it was the Cooper fight when Ali was knocked down, he said he just went down to get a better view of the most beautiful woman in the world, Elizabeth Taylor. Anyone else remember this? or did I dream it?

 

This has always been one of my problems with Ali I rate no.1 as a boxer, but he certainly didn't practice what he preached.
