Sorry I'm not an Ali fan per se but the 66 ali destroys norton and dosen't get embarrassed against young
Ali could also always but aze in seats. I love watching his fights and adored his trash talking I just have about 8 /12 weeks of rehab so went back and watched the 3rd, first time in over 10 yrs, and still could not give the fight to Ali. I even used the old scoring system, even rds etc, but it just never worked out for Ali to win:deal
Wow Thank you Funny story that the kid had never seen Ali fight and had his facts all twisted:nut I will say for a very long time nobody had the cat reflexes, natural athleticism and speed he possessed. I never thought of Ali as a power puncher where as Norton was just a damn tough raw animal who made up for lack of elite boxing skills with monster power, big heart and unorthodox style.
Norton killed Ali. how could anyone even think it was close just becuz Ali flicks out a few jabs that did nothing vs Norton pounding his skull in more than half lf the fight. It was a wonder Ali could walk after the fight then after, I saw a magazine titles "the amazing Ali wins the big one again!". which goes to show the dishonesty of journalism in sports. They would do anything just to sell their product
It wasn't a hometown decision for Ali, because the fight was in Yankee stadium 1976:huh, Ali never lived in NY, it reeked like a dump of a FIX!:deal WTF else can it be:huh, that fight was bought and paid for by somebody.. That was a very off night for Ali, signs that he was still hungover from the Manilla beating just less than a year earlier.. I do agree that a 67 Ali knocks out the best of Norton.. Those 3 fights with Frazier killed Ali inside, Kidney problems prior to Holmes, Thryoid problems, now Parkinsons..
Yea everyone blames foreman and frazier but I believe norton and shavers also contributed to his current unfortunate state
Does this take place beside your vast collection of semen-stained comic books? Or did mom sell them to help pay the rent?
