Resume - Ali P4P greatness - RJJ I would love to see RJJ in his prime right now - he'd eat up the light heavies. I just feel he came into boxing at a poor era for his weight division(s). But, overall, I'd pick RJJ
The divisions he fought in were very rich with talent. The fact that he didn't fight most of them doesn't change that. Not ragging on Jones, but you're either nuthugging or you don't know what you're talking about.
Ali...who actually fought more of the best fighters of his time? Frazier, Foreman, Quarry, Shavers, Norton, Mildenberger, Chuvalo, Bonavena, Patterson, Lyle, Liston and Cooper. That's a hell of a list of A level fighters. Roy looks more like had Ali spent more of his time fight the Spinks, Wepners, and Youngs of the light heavyweight world. Still, he does have Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, and Woods to his credit so I will not bash the man for an incredible career in several weight classes (including HW).
Ali for sure. Jones was born in a lack of talent of era. althought he was great wins over champions, many weren't on the par of the old greats.
Suffering Back to Back One Punch K.O.'s don't help Jones either. (At the time of his Defeats he was still considered in the P4P talks)
