Prime for Prime, Ali beats Tyson no doubt.

I'd say even the mid 70s Ali beats a prime Tyson.
The big difference between dudes Tyson fought, and Ali, is heart. Ali would not be KO'd, not just because of his chin, but his heart is too good. Tyson would get frustrated, not only by being outclassed in the fight, but from Ali's pre-fight trash talking too. Tyson is one mad mutha****er, but Ali is in another class. Ali is the GOAT.

You are right my friend but these threads are made to make us experienced mature posters mad, because they cannot handle that Tyson fought like a bum against James Buster Douglas, the excuses never cease. Muhammad Ali in his prime years would have have drove him madder. Tyson would have stated with the tears.

Yeah, and Henry Cooper still got stopped in the next round, and on May 21 1966, Cooper was stopped in the 6th round on cuts, 14 stitches. As I have said, Ali in his prime never lost his title in the ring like Tyson did and to a second rate fighter, that shows how great he was. Ali lost his title to the U. S Government in 1967, because of an unjust war, and had the guts to not fight in it.

No question Mike could hurt Ali. But Shavers hit him (years past Ali's prime) with his best shot and the fight went on, same with Foreman. Not sure Tyson was any better a finisher than Foreman ( I doubt it) but he sure didn't hit as hard as either of those guys.

Mike probably would land some nice punches, he did have bizarrely underrated hand speed. Probably win a few of the first seven rounds. After than Ali gets to him, the accumulation of punches would take their toll. Ali would feed him a surplus of lighter, dazzlingly fast punches, then start sitting into his rights (and that would spell the end). Mike would be useless before the bell for the 11th round rang.

I his prime years, Muhammad Ali would be shutting out Mike Tyson as James Buster Douglas would, but better. Ali of 1967 would have an easy time. I wish that there were those that could post better threads without the obsession of Mike Tyson, the outcome against Ali will never change, he loses.
