Didn't Valuev lose to an old 6'2½ Holyfield? Really this thread is stupid..

    Haye's punching power: 10 of 10
    Ali's punching power: 1 of 100

Holyfield: Battle-tested in the modern era with super heavies
Ali: Nearly stopped by a washed up, half blind little Joe Frazier, who would be a cruiserweight today.

but he didn't get stopped did he? that's the point. so don't bring up that bs.
haye hits the hardest ever since you gave him a 10/10? and when I was reguarding "murder", I meant outpoint him, it's pretty stupid to think Ali would KO him.. valuev has an iron chin.
size isn't everything. since Holyfield could pop in and out without really getting hit, why wouldn't Ali? he had much better hand speed and footwork valuev. plus he has better conditioning.
this is a pretty stupid thread.. Ali is easily top 5 heavyweights, valuev would be lucky to scrape the top 50s

    Ali: 56-5-0
Valuev: 50-2 with much better competition (way bigger guys)

Valuev's record is better, imo. He's fighting much more challenging opposition. He had to fight Ruiz twice. Ruiz isn't some football player who looks like a weight lifter like Norton was and Ruiz didn't break Valuev's jaw, did he?

he certainly did...but not to the judges...holyfield..the the people watching at home and the arena routing for valuev during his ring walk boo'd the decision...

it was a ****ing crime and evander just smiled...he knows the business..
and he was appreciative that the hometown corwd of valuev boo'd the injustice and gave him a much deserved applaud.

    jim...

    norton is better then ruiz
and how is valuev fighting the better competetion?? this is the worst heavyweight divison I have ever seen. much more skill in the 60s/70s. there's Liston, foreman, Frazier, Lyle, norton, holmes, and a lot of other good fighters. sure they're bigger so what. power isn't everything or size.
and that still never got proven the Broken jaw
    size isn't everything

Chuck Wepner knocked Ali down. Who knocked Valuev down?
Norton: 42-7-1 was brutally stopped four times.
Ruiz: 44-8-1 was only stopped once by David Tua (more powerful than Foreman or Gerry Cooney) and that was his record having faced Valuev TWICE. Ruiz is way better than Norton. He was champ more than once too, unlike Norton who got his title from a vacant spot.

I gotta say you are making quite an argument for Ali, but the reality is he would be outclassed and stopped in the middle rounds.

Ali would outbox Valuev. If Haye and Holyfield can do it then so can Ali.

Haye and Holyfield had actual experience against real modern super heavyweights.

Ali doesn't move like he used to. Valuev takes this easy by majority draw.
