how the hell can you say that tua is more powerful then foreman or cooney?! thats bull and you know it. foreman is the hardest hitter of all time. there's not really Anyone to knock valuev down, all the heavys today suck
with wepner, that was kind of a push as well, not a legit knock down like ali- Frazier 1
bro, size is by no means everything. I think it matters.. obviously.. but if you have no skill to back it up, then what's the point? have you heard of bob sapp? this guy is huge, but he gets whipped by any decent
MMA fighter valuev is just a tall dude with a good chin and reach. he has no hand speed or footwork. maybe he hits hard but Ali's chin would take it. valuev is too slow. he couldn't even catch Holyfield, who doesn't move like Ali. Ali would dance laterally, then come in with hard combos. he would outpoint him, and valuev would swing at air.
you probably think vitali would kill Ali, which isn't as far fetched since vitali actualy has skill and decent footwork.
size is just as important as brawn or skill.
put Ali in this "superior modern era", and he would be mopping the floor with these heavyweights.
the 70s was one of the best eras of boxing, and Ali dominated it. if Ali was in place of holyfield when he fought valuev, I have no doubt he would beat him.
I can't beleive I'm even arguing about this... valuev is nothing compared to the ATGs..

What did Ali dominate exactly? Valuev has wins over Ruiz and Barrett. Ali has two "wins" over Liston, where Liston took dives. He has gift decisions over Norton-a football player. He has a knockout over Foreman where there is this mysterious talk of A POISONING. He "dominated" one fight with Midget Frazier and nearly got murdered by him two other times. Gift decision against Shavers, smashed by Holmes, Berbick and Spinks. Beat a washed up little light heavyweight in Floyd Patterson twice. Yeah, he "dominated" over a real "golden era" alright. An era full of smaller, less athletically gifted men that he often had dive, poisoned or gift decisions over. Valuev did everything honestly and the right way with REAL heavyweights like Ruiz and Lyakhovich and McCline. You people are blinded by Ali the conman because he was some sort of social symbol and won't give the Russian Giant the credit for his measured and intelligent approach.

    LMFAO :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

You're either the type of super moron that can only exist in another dimension or a very clever with humorous sarcasm that only is caught by people who know their boxing. I choose to believe that latter until proven otherwise and will sit back and laugh at anyone who seriously debates what you wrote.

so what? those are still legit. "smaller men"!? hehe. maybe so. haha Ali is a 'real' heavyweight. he always has been. maybe not above 200 LB, but he was still considered to be a "real" heavyweight. they all were. and would you stop calling norton a football player. he clearly wasn't since he BOXED against young holmes and Ali. they are def more skilled though. size maybe makes for a better punch, but if size actually mattered that much, Dempsey, nor Marciano, wouldve been champ.
size is nothing without the skills, and beleive me, valuev doesn't even deserve to be compared to an ATG like Ali.
ali was washed up against holmes and berbick and you know that. ali's win against shavers is no gift, even shavers admitted Ali won. athletically gifted?! haha no they are bigger because there's more technology and protein plans now. we're talking about over 3/4 decades ago, so of course the heavyweights are going to be a little different to say the least. if foreman or Liston were born in this era, they would be much bigger and stronger. but of valuev was born in the 70s, then he would be much smaller. size wouldn't matter against Ali, neither would power. ali could take a lot of punishment, and compared to foreman and Frazier, valuev does not hit very hard.
like I said, valuev is not skilled enough to deal with an Ali. I see him chasing Ali and then getting popped with 4 punches then dancing out of the way. valuev is just too slow and not skilled enough.

All of this means little when you're 68 and have Parkinson's.

lets get this right, the 13 idiots who went for valuev by knock out where thinking the fight is happening current day with Ali's illness right ?

if valuev couldnt knock out david 'apparently chinny' haye, then what ****ing chance would he have against the best heavyweight of all time

as david haye said, a god big man will always beat a good small man.. but an exceptional smaller man will always beat a good big man

and calling valuev good is a little generous in my opinion

edited this because im wondering wether this is actually a joke thread cause i just posted a reply instead of reading lol

How the **** can you say that Ali would lose to Valuev? Ali in his prime what do exactly what Haye did but a lot better and more effectively. This big freak show would have got his ass handed to him by a prime George Foreman also.

I think he's talking prime vs prime....
What's the point of pinning a 68 year old Ali vs a late thirties valuev? that's stupid.
This guy who made this thread is also biased because he only made it "maybe Ali". Believe it or not Ali is too fast and skilled for Valuev.
