:rofl wladimir would dominate every version of 70s ali, the only version who could and probably would beat wladimir is 64-67 clay/ali.
listen... forget this mhytical words like " fight of the century, zaire, manila"... ali never fought a FOTC zaire or manila against norton... it is about styles and physical tools, wladimir would annul the style of a static 70s ali.
There is the styles argument, but there is also levels. First half of the seventies Ali was a level above current/any Klitschko, however much you may feel styles favor the latter.
IF YOU ARE NOT A NOSTALGIC BLIND FANATIC YOU CAN SEE THAT WLADIMIR HAS THE SKILL ENOUGH TO COMPETE WITH ALI, PLUS HE HAS THE TOOLS OF AN ATHLETIC GIANT WITH DECENT SPEED. i am pretty sure that the 70s version of ali was not much faster than david haye
There is being a nostalgic blind fanatic, and on the other end of the extremist spectrum there is being a modernist blind fanatic.
wldimir is better than norton hands down and would ko him in a single round, does not matter if it hurts you
I thought I was being rather generous to Wlad, but OK...You're right: Best case scenario for Wlad: See Ali-Terrell. You can now return to masturbating to pics of Wlad, now.
He is an athletic giant when he doesn't have to fight at a fast pace. Ali will make him work, hard and fast... Wlad will have to throw more than the odd right hand while having to contend with being peppered with combos. He dont have the stamina for the pace. Gets worn down and tko'd mid fight
Brewster and Sanders gave not one dump about this -minimalist style. One style is not enough. Real ATGs can adapt to any style.
