How do you think these fighters compare with Wilder on the heavybag?

Look how AJ is listening to his trainer while Dubois trainer isn`t even instructing him, look how AJ is jabbing the bag powerfully but Dubois is just pawing with his jab.

Yet Dubois still KO'd AJ in sparring.

I've seen a lot of videos of Eubank Jr looking far better than Groves in training. Maybe you should watch a bit more boxing and a bit less training.

Wilder isn't known for his boxing skills, they are actually very poor. We aren't not seeing a Joshua vs Wilder fight due to Wilder's boxing skills. He simply doesn't have good skills. We aren't seeing that fight due to Wilder having very good power. I suspect a fighter like Tyson Fury will back himself in to beat Wilder, knowing Wilder doesn't have great skills - all Fury has to worry about is the one punch KO. Fury won't be in range for that. Joshua would be in range that is why we see Wilder getting overlooked. It is as simple as that, but to compare Ali on a heavy bag vs Wilder is pointless.

In all honesty Ali is better than most pro's to ever laceup gloves. Ali started boxing at 12 and it showed with how polished his footwork and all around boxing skills were. Wilder is an excellent athlete, but started boxing at 21, which is why he isn't that polished. However, now days none of the top heavyweights have very polished skills anyway.

This has to be one of the dumbest threads I have seen in a long time. You are comparing arguably the greatest HW, with a guy who started boxing at 21.

It was aimed at Wilder fans and I wasn`t just comparing Wilder to Ali, if you check the vids I posted I was comparing Wilder to all of them, I just felt this title would get more of a response, and there are those that point out AJ and Wilder being taller and more powerful than smaller heavies from the past, a lot of casuals don`t respect or know much about decades past in boxing.

If you checked I also posted a vid of AJ outdoing Wilder on the heavy bag, I was using Ali as click bait and showing how Ali and AJ are/were better trained than Wilder is.

Eubank Jr was sparring with bums and still getting caught, Eubank is nowhere near AJ`s level P4P.

Ali and his generation of top fighters are light years ahead of modern fighters.

However, Joshua being better trained than Wilder is debatable. Joshua's skills are far from being polished. Joshua's jab and uppercut along with his defense need a lot of work. A lot contenders from the 70's and 80's would've chewed Joshua up and spit him out let alone the champions. If Joshua had even a half decent uppercut he would've disposed of Takam in 2-3 rounds.

Did you see the uppercut that AJ caught Wlad with? That would have knocked out any 70`s heavy except Randall Tex Cobb, Holmes or Ali. He also has a devastating uppercut to the body. AJ`s jab is really powerful like Sonny Liston`s was in the 60`s, but I get te love for the 70`s, those guys were characters also, what a golden generation that was, it all looks like some movie or something when you see interviews and fights on youtube from that decade!
