Ali was much better than Wilder on the heavy bag.

Well the heavyweights of today are taller than the heavyweights of the past, I’m not sure if I could say more powerful, I think Wilders power could hold up in every area and AJs power would be more than enough for any era but they are the only two atm.

I’ve never seen a wilder fan say that he is a better fighter than Ali, if they did I would class them as fan boys.

Fyi: Ali was a boxer even boxer/puncher in those days due to him almost always having a decided size advantage.

DW is there to knock you the **** out, and that's where his Talent is gifted

Wlad throughout his career has never been able to take shots well and those same uppercuts were completely ineffective against Parker. But, Joshua's still young and it's still early in his career, so his technique could improve. Just like Wilder paid Lennox a visit to help him with his jab Joshua should pay Bruno and Lennox a visit to polish up his jab, cross, and uppercut, since I'm sure that they'd love to help a fellow U.K. fighter and champion.

Just to put it in perspective in an old interview Foreman admitted that both Archie Moore and Joe Louis helped him polish up his uppercut, which served him well throughout his career and Archie Moore told him that punching power and defense were the key to longevity at the top in boxing.

Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Primo Carnera, Bert Cooper, Tyson, and many others had devastating uppercuts.

Yeah!! the only thing that's harder than an uppercut from AJ is the hook from Henry F* Cooper!

Ali wasn`t ready for that shot, he had his mouth open and was larking about mouthing 'Hello Cleo' to Liz Taylor at ringside, when he got caught, it`s the ones you don`t see that hurt you, Ali took harder shots from Shavers, Frazier and Foreman, but he was bigger and ready for those shots, one thing though, what gave Cooper`s hook so much power was the speed of it, like Tyson`s shots, if they hit modern heavies like Wilder it would take them out no doubt.

Based on what? Bruno fought and beat much better competition than Joshua and had a much better Jab and cross than Joshua. Bruno would never go 10 rounds with a scrub like Takam and Parker would've taken a severe beating from Bruno. Joshua had a featherfisted and predictable Parker, who was clearly gassed in the later rounds in front of him and barely earned a decision. Parker would've been eating flush jabs and crosses until Bruno put him down for good.

Bruno only lost 5 times and that was to monstrous punchers that were in their primes. Joshua beat Wlad, who was retired and had been shot for at least 3-4 years and Wlad was never very durable even in his prime. I give Joshua as much credit as I give Tyson for beating Holmes coming out of retirement, which is zero.

I admitted that Joshua has potential and he along with his team have done a great job marketing him in the UK, but his jab and uppercut are clearly lacking just like his conditioning is. If he had Bruno's jab and right cross he would've stopped Takam easily and if he had Lennox's uppercut Parker would've been on the canvas several times.

I love a good Wilder bash but his skills don't involve actual boxing. Wilder isn't a boxer per see he is a guy with great reflexes and a very big right hand so he isn't comparable to Ali in anyway at all...

Takam has a great chin, Bruno struggled against an over the hill Carl Williams Lewis hadn`t reached his prime during his boring fight with Frank and only became a great after Stewart straightened his right hand, AJ`s jab has far more power than Bruno`s, Parker was spoiling against AJ very well, Bruno gassed against Witherspoon and Smith.
