Very sad today. Outside of my parents, he was my hero, and the only athlete/entertainer, who ever that I would've asked for an autograph.

    The true TBE...!!!

    Very sad

It wasn't just in the ring. He was great outside of it and not just America. 3rd world countries in HIS era where people didn't really know about sport, KNEW of Ali. They'd see the everlast brand and they'd say "Ali".

He might have been the greatest athelete who ever lived, and had a tremendous social significance besides.

Reading this post on this thread is like looking down and seeing a steaming dog krap on the floor. All fresh and stinky.

Ali was, is and will always be the biggest name in Boxing. A true legend above legends. He is to Boxing what Pele is to soccer or Ceaser was to the Roman empire. He is the superstar to the superstars. As strong and great a fighter as he was he was ready to fight racism and inequality with as much courage and belief as he was a Liston or a Foreman.

The word legend gets used to easily for sportstars, not with Ali though he really is a legend.

Mayweather should not even be mentioned in a thread about Ali at this time.

    Wurst ruined the entire thread.

This whole forum has gone so downhill in the last few years it's a complete joke.

    RIP Muhammad Ali.

To Him we belong and to Him we return.
