Sonny's (His life) movie is called "Phantom Punch". with Ving Rhames. I'd recommend it. His death still remains in the annuls of "Unsolved mysteries" & the movie goes a long way to giving us options of the way it all went. It's probably as true as Smiths Ali.

It was made last year. It's been playing on foxtel. I've IQ'd it, but haven't watched it yet. Might have to give it a look.
Only made 2008 or 2009 I think - but may well have gone straight to DVD. Not really something that's gonna attract mainstream attention - but for us tragics a good weekly section lend from the video shop.
Liston would've reigned for a few more years, if Clay never turned up. Him v Frazier would've been fireworks.

Agree. I can't stand the ****. I'd never watch a movie with him in it...I'm still trying to get over seeing an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when I was a kid.
