Where do I begin? I think they should both be on the cover. Every great fighter has lost fights in the twilight of their careers. How can you say "you used to think Mike would win a fight with Ali" and not now. Ali lost his last two fights- one to Larry Holmes and his final to Trevor Berbick. Mike beat Berbick for his first WBC heavyweight title and then defeated Larry Holmes. I'm not saying Mike would beat Ali necessarily but everyone is a little quick to forget how great Mike was. Whether you like him or not Tyson's name belongs with Ali, Liston, Dempsey, Forman, Marciano, Tunney, Holmes, Norton, Frazier and the rest of the elite. Who cares about Buster Douglas? Mike would of killed him in a rematch. Mike could of definetly had a chance against Ali. WATCH FIGHTS!
 Is it better to lose to Larry Holmes when you're shot or to Kevin McBride? Why do you mention these late career losses as arguments? If Ali can withstand early rounds aggressions of Mike, he will win
You could definetly be correct. The only reason I brought up the late career fights is because I think people make a bigger deal out of them then they are. Ali's last fights don't affect the way we look at him. Tyson's do. I realize Mike went out different but their primes are what we should talk about.
In Mike's prime he could go 12 rounds swinging. Ali could take a punch like no other but I think Mike would be a Norton or a Frazier except "able to hit harder".
