Ali's best moments in the Holmes fight.

Ali was completely shot with Leon Spinx for Holmes he was a cardboard poster of himself

 

The introductions were nice.

 

Right, he his Parkinson's started around the time of the Shaver's fight. I recall a talk show where he held out his hand to show its steadiness-& there was some shaking. He also did rapid weightless & took voodoo "energy" shots that further debilitated his mobility. But as a kid, i did not know better, & wanted to believe his mahic could carry him through one more time.

That was the Ghost of the Shell of the Corpse of Ali.

I'm sorry. I think the weigh in was the highpoint. Ali came in lighter than feared. There were no good Ali moments. The king had left the building.

there is nothing in watching a young man beating up a 40somethin, fight should never have happened.

 

Ali threw a decent right hand in round one or two I forget but that was it from what I can recall. Don't really have any desire to watch that again.

 

Ali was 38, & age was far secondary to his Parkinson's & also the debilitating weight loss & drugs he took for it.

 

His best moment was when Dundee said, it's over I'm the chief second the fight is over,"to which Ali replied "thank you."

 

That just about covers it. I've never watched that fight,mercifully.

 

A lot of people's bullsh/t monitors must be turned off.
